Coins of Care

In celebrating our 30th anniversary this year, the emphasis has been to promote citizenship and service to our community. Interact, Oakhill’s long-standing community service club in the College; affiliated to Knysna Rotary and active since the inception of our school in the 1990s; invites our whole school community to please participate in various aspects of service together for our Mandela Day citizenship celebrations We urge the whole school to please help with the goal to collect coins to create an artwork comprising these coins our timeframe is 23 May – 22 June 2022. A portrait of Nelson Mandela’s face will be drawn by the art department and pupils, using guidelines from the art department, will fill in the artwork with their coins. All monies raised will be donated.
