Santa Shoebox is a wonderful initiative leading up to the festive season which presents a very special opportunity for Oakhill to give as many underprivileged children as possible a special gift for Christmas. Oakhill was extremely excited to share in the joy of giving once again as we reach out to our direct community and also support them hand over of gifts tomorrow with the Santa Shoebox organisers.
Nearly one thousand one hundred boxes have been donated to Santa Shoebox recipients in the Plettenberg Bay and Knysna communities. Once again, Oakhill families contributed close to 200 of these boxes! Thank you to the Santa Shoebox Regional Coordinator, Deanne Roberts, our Oakhill Interactors and our teachers that helped coordinate these donations.
It has been truly heartwarming to share in the joy of giving and we are very grateful to all our Oakhill families for their kind and generous donations – thank you!
