Old Oaks is the alumni and supporter community of Oakhill. Old Oaks represents the past pupils and staff of the school and aims to keep its members in contact with each other and the school.
Oakhill Old Oaks started gaining momentum in 2013, using Facebook as a platform. 2014 saw many matriculants of 1994 coming together for Oakhill’s first-ever 20-Year Class Reunion and celebration of the opening of the Oakhill Sports Campus. Since then, there have been intermittent reunions over the years, with the emphasis on 10 and 20 year reunions initiated by the respective matric groups. We hope that year by year, interest and participation increases and look forward to hearing from Old Oaks and helping them connect. Hearing from and seeing Old Oaks, whether supporting at our many festivals or matches, impromptu visits or receiving messages via social media is always appreciated.
Old Oaks Vision
Our aim is to grow our Old Oaks community, with each member a proud ambassador of Oakhill. We encourage Old Oaks to return and visit our school, keeping the fellowship of Oakhill alive and inspiring future generations with their stories. One day we hope that our members will become benefactors and that they will share their time and skills, thereby contributing to the future prosperity of the school.
