Our Grade Rs recently hosted Ms Lucy Wood, a well-known artist from Knysna, as part of our ‘Learning about Artists’ series. Lucy discussed various artistic processes and media that artists use in creating their masterpieces. The enthusiastic Grade R’s were then given an opportunity to produce art of their own. It was a great joy to hear from Lucy that she sees many artists in the making! Lucy Woods is not only passionate about art. Animals are very close to her heart and is an active member of ‘CX Township Animals in Need’. As a token of our appreciation, the Grade R group kindly donated dog and cat food to this important cause. There is great joy in both learning and giving!
