A magical adventure unfolded as our Foundation Phase students took to the stage for their 2026 production, “Toys in Pieces” last week. The high-stakes, midnight rescue mission delighted audiences over two nights on Wednesday, 11 March, and Thursday, 12 March.
The production followed a brave band of toys – including the steadfast Soldier, a cuddly Rabbit, and the dedicated Nicola the Nurse Doll – on a daring quest to the Tip. Their mission was to save their unravelling but beloved friend, Freddie. Audiences watched, on the edges of their seats, as the toys navigated obstacles, narrowly outsmarting a hungry pack of rats determined to stand in their way.
With catchy tunes, impressive acting, and plenty of daring escapes, the students brought the charming story to life with incredible energy and enthusiasm. The performance was a true celebration of the Foundation Phase’s hard work and creativity.
Well done and thank you to Mrs Fourie for her brilliant direction and especially to our amazing parents, who supported in so many ways – from the incredible set to the costumes and make-up.
