Weekly Achievements: Week 3 Term 2 2015


SANESA 3rd Qualifier and George Autumn Show

Veda Vosloo achieved a 1st place in the 70cm Show Jumping and a 3rd and 6th place in the Novice Dressage classes.


Natasha Burgesmeir took a first place in the 80cm Show Jumping and a 3rd and 4th place in the Prelim Dressage classes.

Bianca Mincione and her horse ‘Are We There Yet’ won the Novice Working Championship for the show which is a great achievement. They also came second in the Novice Working Riding class.

Xisca Taylor and Roll Right Up, won all 4 of their classes:

  • Novice 1 Dressage
  • Novive 3 Dressage
  • 90cm Welcome Stakes
  • 1m – Two Phase

Amazing consistency over 2 disciplines from Xisca and Rolly!

Paul Kotze and Kilshane Lahinch jumped a beautiful clear round in his first 1m class and were just out of the placings.


SWD Cricket Awards

Todd Walker was awarded a certificate for being the ‘Top run scorer’ in the u19 Super League for the 2014/ 2015 Season.


Oakhill Open Results

  • 3rd place: Bradley Carroll shooting 94 with a net 76
  • 2nd place: Lawrence Wiid shooting 78 with a net 72
  • 1st place: Jarred Wels shooting 79 with a net 68


The following Girls have been selected for KPSSSU Regional teams for SWD Trials:

  • U14: Tazne Strydom
  • U16: Emma Stam
  • U17: Naquita Lloyd


12 girls have been selected to go through to the final round of SWD Hockey trials, and 20 (yes 20!) boys have made the SWD Hockey teams! Well done to all. Names and team allocations will be posted next week.
