Annually Oakhill Prep students write the IEB Core Skills Tests. The tests measure thinking skills – language thinking, mathematical thinking, visual literacy and complex thinking (reasoning). These international benchmarking tests are written in Grade 3 and 6 in our Prep School and the results published the following year.
Once again, Oakhill is very proud of the 2022, Grade 3 & 6 groups for scoring above the IEB average in each of the strands.

In addition to the high achievements of our Grade 3 and 6s last year, our 2022 Matrics achieved 2.51 distinctions per candidate in their IEB Matric Exams with Oakhill recently being acknowledged as one of the top performing independent co-educational schools in South Africa (Business Tech, 21 May 2023).
