Every morning at Oakhill, music fills the air as pupils start arriving for school. We take great pride in our College and IP bands at Oakhill, with both bands having ”fused” the African Marimba instruments into their repertoire. At the moment we have two Bass Marimbas and two Soprano Marimbas, allowing ten students to play the marimbas in each band. This creates a wonderfully unique sound and atmosphere, with staff and pupils delighting in the varied tunes flowing from the music block each morning.
