ADVENTURE RACING

 

Cycling

 

Jason Campbell achieved the following during school holidays:

 

Oyster Festival Results and times in brackets

MTB 30km: 1st place (1h20)

Road 80km: 6th u18 overall (2h19)

Featherbed Trail run nite: 3rd overall (59min)

Xterra Lite Solo: 7th u19 and 11th overall (1h14)

 

SWD Cycling youth festival

2 x gold medals: Overall team road and team time trial races

1 x silver  medal: MTB Marathon race

1 x bronze medal: MTB Cross Country race

 

The following students have been selected to represent SWD Cycling teams to take part in Nationals in Bloemfontein:

CANOEING

 

Michaela Beers achieved the following during holidays:

Featherbed night run: came 12th overall.

The Knysna1 Lagoon Challenge 22km Race: finished 1st Junior and 2nd Lady overall.

X Lakes Challenge: Michaela teamed with Ben Giliomee with Ben cycling and Michaela paddling. They came 1st Mixed team and 1st Juniors.
