Term 1: Final Achievements


Eden Gala Champs

Amy Williams achieved 2 x 1st places, 2 x 2nd places & 1 x 3rd place.
Andrew Vedder achieved 1 x 1st place & 3 x 3rd places.


Jack Duthie played in the following tournaments:

Plettenberg Bay Open: finished 3rd
Kenako World Series at Kingswood: finished 16th out of 76 competitors from 17 countries
Kenako Series eventat Oubaai: finished 2nd
Sanlam Glacier Junior Series event at Oubaai: finished 3rd out of 83 entrants.
Order of Merit at Kingswood Golf Club: won the A DIVISION by achieving a best gross

Jack Duthie will travel Johannesburg to play two SA National Order of Merit events and then go to Katberg to play SA Boys u19 champs.


Pine Lake Triathlon

Jason Campbell took part in this event while on Odyssey and his results are as follows:

MTB 20km race: 1st overall (45 minutes)
Sprint Triathlon: 1st overall and 1st Junior male (53 minutes – distances 500m swim, 13km MTB cycle & 3km trail run)


Cape Argus/Pick n Pay Cycle Tour

Nicola Giliomee was the 1st lady to cross the line in the 52km race in a time of 2 hours and 53 minutes.

Cape Argus Pick n Pay road race in aid of the Sabrina Love Foundation

Nicola Giliomee was the 1st lady over the finish line in her start group, which consisted of 473 riders, and was the 8th u18 girl in a time of 3 hours and 45 minutes.

UCI Rocky Roads World Cup Cross Country in Pietermaritzburg

An hour before her event started the heavens opened up and made the course extremely dangerous and continued to pour throughout the race. Despite this Mikayla Oliver came 4th in the race.

Well done to the two girls for amazing achievements and for putting themselves and our school on the world map.
