Amid a rainy and blustery day, children and teddy bears came to picnic along with moms, dads, aunts, uncles and grandparents at our annual Teddy Bear’s Picnic! This is a special day for children to enjoy a variety of activities at Little Oaks. The entertainment included the Grade Rs performing their ‘Ugly Bug Ball’, and some Grade 3 and Grade 4 boys and girls who put on shows with handmade puppets. Other activities involved doing a Teddy Collages and Teddy Colouring-in, as well as kits to ‘Ice Teddy’ biscuits. ‘Giggles’ came to join the festivities and donated their ball pond and provided sand-art – both firm favourites! Parents mingled and enjoyed tea, coffee, cakes and more, including our Market Stall.
A heartfelt thanks to all parents who went to a lot of effort in setting up the event, as well those who gave of their time to help out on the day. A great morning was certainly had by all, despite the weather!
