A great way to end a busy exam term is the annual Coke Race or Challenge – a fun-filled tradition at Oakhill. Held by the Student Representative Council (SRC), the Coke Race is a battle amongst the College students to find the fastest contender as they “taste the feeling”. Six students from each grade took on the challenge to drink their individual Coke as fast as possible. With two rounds per grade, the respective winners progressed to the finals where a staff member, Mrs Barnard was also up to the challenge. Among cheers, laughter and much encouragement for all – our youngest finalist, Rio Bruwer in Grade 8 took the accolades!
