Santa Shoebox Initiative

This year Oakhill decided to become part of the Santa Shoebox Project – a wonderful initiative that aims to give as many underprivileged children as possible a special gift for Christmas. This project is run throughout South Africa, and Oakhill is extremely excited to share the joy of giving and to reach out to our direct community.

Oakhill officially handed over 540 shoeboxes this morning to Nicola Wicks of the Santa Shoebox Foundation. Thank you Oakhill students and parents for the amazing support! We are overwhelmed by the generosity and so pleased that 540 underprivileged children will now have a wonderful surprise to look forward to on Christmas Day!

For more information on the Santa Shoebox Project, visit their website or find them on facebook.
