During the last holidays Matric pupil, Alex Leiar competed in the SA National Aquatic Championships in the Western Cape. Alex swam the 50m Breast, 100m Breast, 200m Breast and 50m Fly races achieving personal bests for all events. Most notably Alex qualified for the 50m Breast Final – an incredible achievement!
Alex competed amongst SA legends such as Chad Le Clos as well as past Oakhillian and Olympian Aimee Canny who was out from the USA where she is currently studying and training!
