President’s Award

Congratulations to our two Matric pupils – Nicholas Hill and Shannon Amoils – who have successfully completed the Silver Level of The President’s Award. This is a prestigious programme affiliated to The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, and seeks to encourage young people to chart their own path of self-discovery and growth. The four components of Sport, Community Service, an Expedition and Skills & Interests are designed to provide a balanced experience. At completion of the Award, young people receive an internationally recognised certificate that bares the signatures of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip and President Cyril Ramaphosa, and these certificates are recognised and very well received by employers and universities. Well done Nic and Shannon, we are so proud of you!
