We are extremely proud of our staff member, Deborah Hayward, on recently qualifying as a Google Certified Coach – one of the first educators in South Africa registered as a Coach on the Google for Education EduDirectory. This is a wonderful and most significant accomplishment, especially as there are so few schools that can boast that they have a Google Coach on their teaching staff.
The new GoogleForEdu Certified Coach program trains instructional coaches and Edtech specialists to drive impactful technology use in schools. Google for Education Certified Coaches work 1:1 with teachers to identify and adopt technology-based solutions that solve classroom challenges. The certification is achieved by demonstrating the knowledge and skills required to drive impactful technology use in schools through instructional coaching.
