Eco efforts acknowledged

Oakhill recently received recognition from Knysna Municipality for our creative use of eco-bricks. Together with ten other local schools, Oakhill participated in the BioWise’s #WasteNothing Competition. For this year’s efforts, we produced a record amount of eco bottle bricks and built structures with them that could be used daily by the children at school.

The prize-giving took place on Wednesday, 10 October at the Knysna Mall, and Oakhill was delighted to win a beautiful big compost bin for our efforts.
