Oakhill hosted the regional Kids’ Lit Quiz this week. For the 8th year we warmly greeted Wayne Mills and his wife who come all the way from New Zealand (via numerous other countries) to their smallest area in the world to conduct the quiz.
Six other schools from George to Plettenberg Bay joined us for this exciting event, with a total of 11 teams.
We are very proud to announce our winning team from Oakhill: Mia Guccio, Jemima Wilcox-Jones, Liam Nelson and Victoria Still. The second team was from Greenwood Bay College, who narrowly missed coming first for the second year in a row, by one point! Our other Oakhill team, Imogen Wilcox-Jones, Mark Sturgess, Ella Barker and Alexa Fioravanti were placed a proud third.
This weekend the winning team from Oakhill will travel for the National competition to Roedean School in Johannesburg. We wish them luck!
