Oakhill Prep Shoe Drive

Oakhill Prep Shoe Drive

In response to an eye-catching photo in the Knysna-Plett Herald, we put out an appeal to our Oakhill families to please help by collecting and sending in second hand shoes. Two hundred and thirty-two pairs of shoes were collected and made a ‘shoe line’ measuring forty-two metres! The drive was run by the Grade 2’s and supported by the entire Oakhill Prep School.

“We hope that we have made a difference – even in a small way –  and that children just like us also have warm feet as they walk to school…”
