Oakhill Cricketers make history

Oakhill Cricketers make history

Following a very successful Cricket season that ended in March, Oakhill came 5th in the Super League out of the eleven best cricketing schools in the province. This was Oakhill’s first ever season in the Super League. Following their Provincial selection last year, James Segers, JJ Strydom, Chris and Thomas Marrow and Joshua Pieters all attended SWD trials with Thomas Marrow making the u17A Team and Chris Marrow and Joshua Pieters making the u19A team for both the Three-Day series and the Coca-Cola Khaya Majola week. This is to be held from the 16th to 20th December in Potchefstroom. This is the first time in Oakhill’s history that we have ever had a cricketer attend the Coca-Cola week and, in fact, we have two! They will have the opportunity of playing against the best Cricketers in South Africa and even some of the very best in the world in their age group.
