Oakhill Book Donation to Knysna Library

Oakhill donated a significant number of books from our school library to our local librarians, who were overjoyed. Mrs Elaine Spies, senior librarian and Mrs Monica Frans, acting librarian for the Knysna Childrens’ Library, were delighted and appreciative of the fantastic range of non-fiction and fiction reading.

The excitement for new and old books was palpable as the Grade 3 students brought numerous boxes of books into the library. The books that will not be added to the library will be available for purchase by “Friends of the Library.” This grant supports the Knysna Library to buy new literature.

Oakhill is thrilled to support the joy of reading in our community!
