Our students wrapped up our week of Mandela Day initiatives with an amazing portait of Nelson Mandela created with the coins of care that were donated during our 30 days of collecting. The students reached the goal of 6700 coins! Many thanks to all the families and students that donated coins and to all that participated in the creation of the portrait. The coins will go to the transport of those that help manage our Oakhill food garden for the soup kitchen in Hornlee. Each coin donated will extend our care to our community in honour of Madiba!
