Congratulations to Liam Heynderickx for recently competing at the National SA Gym Games in Pretoria, and ranking 8th overall for Level 4 Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, in the 13 – 18 age group.
This highly competitive journey to reaching nationals began in August, when Liam came first at the Regional Men’s Artistic competition in Mossel Bay, receiving a gold medal and SWD colours. The Provincial Men’s Artistic competition in Cape Town followed in September, where Liam placed 3rd and received Honours in gymnastics and Western Province Colours. He was selected to represent the Western Cape at the SA Gym Games, competing against gymnasts from all over South Africa and Namibia.
