Learning through play

The Grade 6 pupils went on an outing to the Plett Puzzle Park towards the end of the term. They were split into groups and navigated their way through the 3D maze and forest walk. Problem-solving skills, cooperation and memory were all key factors needed! In the maze the aim is to make your way to each of four towers to find a key and eventually find your way out of the maze while sticking to your group and relying on your memory of the routes to and from each tower. The forest walk consists of 9 stations where the group has to solve a puzzle in 4 minutes to earn a token.

The students thoroughly enjoyed all the challenges while relying on their ability to think laterally and solve problems collaboratively.
