Congratulations to Kade Howorth, in Grade 10 who placed second in a tight competition in the Junior Division at the South African Body Boarding Championships in Durban from the 2-6 October. Kade represented the Eden Body Boarding Association and as a 16-year-old, has just moved into the Juniors from the Boys division, where he placed 1st in South Africa last year. When asked about the experience this past holiday, Kade comments that “he just wants to keep surfing better”.
Kade extends his water aptitudes to the pool where he captains Oakhill College’s Boys Water Polo 1st team and is also going to SA Schools Water Polo representing Eden U19 in December 2017.
