One of Oakhill School’s annual highlights, the SRC Food Evening and Interact Fashion Show, took place on Friday, 17 August, providing plenty of fun and laughter, as well as raising much-needed funds for various local community projects. Everyone attending had a wonderful evening, from the delicious international food on offer to the fun entertainment provided by musicians, singers and models strutting their stuff! Themed London Street Style, the show exuded high fashion, colour and style. Once again, Challenge Gobo led the evening superbly as Master of Ceremonies, and the Grade 12 boys ended the show modelling their Matric Dance outfits to Lou Bega’s “Mambo No 5”. Well done to all the models and behind-the-scenes organisers from the SRC and Interact Committees! And a huge thank you to our local shops and boutiques who were so willing to lend outfits – Due South, Old Khaki, Papagayo, Sportscene, Surf Culture. Tiger Lilly and Two on Toast.
Sincere thanks to Penny Foyn for once again beautifully capturing the spirit of the evening. See the full gallery of photos on our Oakhill facebook page
