Inter-Schools’ Chukka Water Polo Festival

Inter-Schools’ Chukka Water Polo Festival

The Chukka Festival started off with a bang.  Oakhill tried their best, but sadly didn’t win.  Ice cream was sold.  Chips were eaten and water polo was played. Some of the Oakhill water polo girls were stung by jellyfish, but they carried on playing.  The boys did very well and were doing hammerheads as soon as they got into the water.  Scratches, bruises, stings and more had no effect on the team spirit.  Oakhill did really well.  We should all be very proud of Mrs van Straten and coach Ally, as they backed the teams and were very encouraging.
