Congratulations to our new Oakhill Interact Committee appointments for 2023/2024: Larissa Gould Wagenaar (President), Veruschka Titus (Vice President), Keira Reynolds (Secretary) and Taryn Jansen (Treasurer).
It was wonderful to have Youth Committee Rotarians, Lesley Satchel and LeeAnn Govender join us at Oakhill to induct the incoming 2023/2024 leaders this week.
Oakhill’s Interact Club is the oldest Rotary youth committee in Knysna, having been first founded in 1994 at Oakhill. Following in the tradition of nearly 30 years of service to the community, we look forward to a special year ahead of “Service above Self” as our students engage in our community, led by the active and involved Oakhill Interact Club and their teacher Mrs Kim Baisley.
Sincere thanks to the outgoing Interact President, Fenella Hill and Interact Executive Committee, Abigail Mwangi, Tamzyn Govender and Kaylin Jacobs who are commended on their commitment and initiative across several citizenship efforts throughout the year – your dedication to Interact and our community is appreciated.
