The new Interact & SRC Committees kickstarted their fundraising efforts last week after a two-year hiatus with the ever-popular Interact Fashion Show and SRC Food Evening. With the magnificent setting and music of Grease, the show exuded fun, bright colour and style reminiscent of the era. Everyone attending had a wonderful afternoon and evening, from the delicious international food on offer to the fun entertainment provided by models and Grade 12s strutting the latest trends! Grade 12’s Giorgio Pesto and Carly Howard led the event superbly as masters of ceremonies. And to the delight of the audience, the Matric boys also performed a surprise dance number to the Grease soundtrack. Well done to the Interact Committee, led by Fenella Hill with Abigail Mwangi, Tamzyn Govender and Kaylin Jacobs for arranging on a superb fashion show! The Interact committee expresses their gratitude to local shops and boutiques who were so willing to lend outfits in support of this meaningful and feel-good fundraiser – De Jagers, Diana Loon Boutique, Harbour Bay, Salt. Life. Clothing, Surf Culture, The Fix, Tiger Lilly Activewear, Total Sport and Two on Toast Clothing Boutique. Thank you to Penny Foyn for the wonderful photographs!
