Our Grade 9s had the opportunity to attend their grade camp during the last week of term. Spending two action packed days and nights together gave everyone the opportunity to mingle, learn and explore away from the familiarity of their daily school and home routines.
Activities ranged from cooking to art, from reaching the highest point of the obstacle course to skimming across the water in a speedboat, from volleyball to ten-pin bowling and putt-putt…even a little drumming under the moonlight. The pupils returned to school just in time for the end of term – tired, happy and content that they had learned new skills, overcome some fears and formed several new friendships.
