All aboard the school bus and off to the beach we went, enjoying the sunshine, but with a real chill in the air. We went armed with magnifying glasses and our first task was to tally up the number of different birds we could find. We enjoyed a scavenger hunt, needing to complete a colour collecting card.
We spent time together looking at patterns on the beach, grains of sand and investigating our local sand dunes.
We had such fun. Our learning experience was filled with sand, shells, spiders, sticks and dunes.
