Grade 3 Star Gazing and Valentine’s Day

Grade 3 Star Gazing and Valentine’s Day

The star gazing picnic was an enjoyable opportunity to spend time together as a whole grade! Ina Engelbrecht has a wealth of information and her chat was aimed at both the children and their parents. Despite many holding thumbs, the clouds still rolled in and covered much of our night sky. We will, however encourage families to take the time to appreciate our beautiful “galaxy” and possibly keep an eye on the heavens the next starry night!

Valentine’s day brought with it some of Mrs. Bailey’s delicious cup-cakes, sent along for us to decorate! A lovely way to end our day, some giving theirs to mum or gran, some choosing to eat it before they left the classroom.
