On Monday 28 May the Grade 2 class walked to the Main road for a “Transport” survey for Mathematics. It was very exciting to begin counting cars, trucks, buses and people. We waited for a motorbike and a bicycle – but it was a long wait until the Steers delivery man passed us by! Whoops and cheers and another tick added! Not one bicycle to be seen – a tad too cold maybe – but not for an ice-cream which was a treat before returning to school!
