Our Grade 1 children are currently exhibiting their Mini Game Reserves at the “Exhibition of Miniature Gardens” at the Knysna Mall on 24-26 November in the African Bushveld Category. The children created and constructed their game reserves themselves as part of their design and technology project. After setting up their exhibition they assimilated their learning, in cross-curriculum style by spending the morning at the Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve, experiencing animals in their natural habitat while on a game drive. Earlier this month an expert game ranger also came to share his experiences. A rich learning experience of animals in the wild!
