The Grade Rs were buzzing with excitement as they boarded the school bus for their first outing of 2020! At JB Furniture, the children had the opportunity to explore the wonderful world of ‘tree to the furniture’. After a tour of the factory, the most exciting part (according to the Grade Rs!) began – they were coached, step by step, on how to make a can crusher, which became theirs to keep. In collaboration between JB and Global Scrap metal, the children left the factory fully kitted out to recycle cans, earn some pocket money and keep our world beautiful!
