Term 2 started on a calm and structured note after a very different holiday for everyone. Teachers from Little Oaks, the Foundation Phase, Intermediate Phase and College were all onboard and online, offering a friendly welcome back and the reassurance that “We’ve got this!”
While the younger grades enjoyed many fun activities of a normal school day in the comfort of their homes with family, College pupils got stuck into lessons, juggling textbooks, Google classroom, online instruction and inquisitive parents in the background! We thank our Oakhill community for their continued support as we all adjust to this new normal.
Our Foundation Phase Academic Director, Alexa Frost, had a special welcome message to share, reading a meaningful poem to help the Prep pupils feel a little more comfortable with the concept of Oakhill@Home Learning ….
