Michaela Beers did a 6km canoeing race in Plett, Keurbooms River. She finished 1st overall beating both girls and boys.

2011 SOUTH AFRICAN DUATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS
Nicola Giliomee and Benjamin Giliomee have been chosen to represent the Eastern Province at the South African Duathlon Championships to be held in Cape Town on 18 June 2011. Congratulations to these pupils and wishing them well for the Championships.

- Alex Fulford: finished 9th in his age group; 38th overall with a time of 4h03mins in 1-day stage
- Ben Giliomee: finished 5th overall with a time of 2h50mins in 1-day stage
- Nicola Giliomee: finished 1st Lady overall with a time of 3h35mins in 1-day stage
- Harry Maarsingh: finished 2nd overall in 1-day stage
