College National Water Polo Tournament

During the holidays our College Water Polo 1st Teams participated in one of the sports biggest school tournaments – the National Co-Ed Water Polo Tournament at Pearson High School in Port Elizabeth. Up against many of the best water polo schools in the country, our young men and women held their own, with one of the highlights being an impressive win against rival Parklands!

Detailed results as follows:

1st Girls: Played 5 games overall

  • Won – 1
  • Lost – 4
  • Placed 15th overall
  • Player of the tournament: Whole team
  • Highlight: 19 – 1 win against Parklands

1st Boys: Played 7 games overall

  • Won – 3
  • Lost – 4
  • Placed 10th overall
  • Player of the tournament: Dale de Gouveia
  • Highlights: Winning 6 – 2 vs Rand Park and 15 – 4 vs Port Rex
