Oakhill once again welcomed several schools to the annual Oakhill Co-Ed Hockey Festival this past weekend from Thursday, 28 March to Sunday 31 March 2019. Participants enjoyed a festive weekend with nine other high schools from the Western and Eastern Cape, as well as the Free State and Gauteng. All in all, a great weekend of hockey, interwoven with fun and sportsmanship at the Oakhill Sports Campus.
Our 1st Boys team played six matches overall, winning five and losing only one. The 1st Girls team won all of their five games.
The festival is now in its 9th year, and paves the way for the upcoming Oakhill Prep Schools U13 Hockey Festival from 2 to 4 May. We look forward to more exciting hockey action at our beautiful Oakhill Sports Campus!
