COLLABORATIVE DRAMA CAMP
The end of the term brought an exciting few days for our Grade 12 Drama students. In collaboration with Curro Hermanus and Curro Somerset West this week, we set off to work together on a task set by the Independent Examination Board (IEB) for their Matric Drama portfolios.
They explored the theatrical conventions of Postmodernism through a workshop process, creating collages, monologues, dialogues and finding suitable spaces on our campus for performances and presentations, while challenging their creativity and improvisation skills.
The students worked together effortlessly and spent their time learning from each other through sharing of ideas, performing together and expanding their theatrical knowledge. It was a great collaborative learning experience for all involved!
