Children of the World Day

Children of the World Day

Last Friday Little Oaks celebrated cultural diversity across the globe at their annual Children of the World Day. Little Oakhillians came to school dressed as citizens of different countries, adorned with traditional garments and accessories, and Grade R staff looked incredible in their outfits specially designed and created by assistant teacher Roydah Kalumba. Everyone had a wonderfully fun morning learning about unique cultures through presentations, music, dancing, singing and last but not least, a culinary feast! Little Oaks moms and dads prepared traditional dishes from a variety of countries and went the extra mile to ensure that the children had an authentic experience. Thank you to everyone who came together to make our Children of the World Day such a memorable and special occasion.
