Oakhill was thrilled to rekindle the strong tradition of sporting derbies with Bridge House recently. Our College winter sports teams hosted Bridge House last weekend and a fabulously fun-filled weekend of well-matched hockey, netball and soccer games were appreciated.
A special treat was seeing many supporters from the sidelines that helped celebrate our senior players’ last hockey game. The day was very emotional, filled with tears of joy and a good dose of nostalgia.
Thank you to Bridge House for travelling from Franschoek to Knysna for these auspicious fixtures and we look forward to our annual derby weekend next year in Franschoek.
