We are pleased to have dusted off the bridge building and breaking challenge this year. Six teams spent a day building bridges to meet the challenge specs. Then earlier this term, we gathered to put them to the test on the specialised breaking mechanism. A formula that takes appearance and meeting the specs of the weight of the construction and mass (how heavy a load each could carry) determined the winning team. Congratulations to Francois Hay, Thomas Seddon and Ethan Bright (in Grade 11) whose bridge was the outright winner!
