Oakhill School is very pleased to facilitate a 17-day journey of self-discovery on our Oakhill Odyssey for 21 students from Beaulieu College in Johannesburg.
Oakhill Odyssey now in it’s 11th year has been made available to other independent schools since 2016 due to interest in the spectacular Garden Route and demand for the unique experience on offer. Fully supported by professional adventure specialists, the participants experience a truly life-changing adventure.
Their route will lead them through the magnificent natural environment of the Garden Route and Langkloof, through forests, over mountains, across semi-desert and along lakes, rivers and the breath-taking Southern Cape coastline. It is a social, emotional, physical and spiritual journey focusing on self-awareness, which will have a significant impact on the lives of all participants.
Starting on 15-16 April respectively two groups of Beaulieu College students will cover around 350 km on foot, bicycle and kayak over a period of 17 days, returning on 2-3 May 2022. To follow their journey you can view the photos on the Oakhill Odyssey 2022 Facebook page.
