Bella at Equestrian Nationals

Both Horses travelled up with no problems and as we had no groom along Bell and I looked after them from Morn till Night. They both did very well in their Dressage, Mega Babe came in 3rd out of 63 in the Prelims and Brock 6th out of 47 in the Novice.

Jumping could have been better but Bell had Clear rounds on Mega – just too slow came in 8th (class aslo in the 40ties). Old Brock, in true pony style, had stolen and eaten six feeds, in one go, the day before, so was full of beans and stroppy and jumped too fast and knocked a pole – came in 13th nevertheless. Bell rode like a star and had great fun. She has been nominated as the best Junior Rider Western Cape.

The Western Cape Team did well all around and made a very good impression!

Sadly Bella has had to say “Goodbye” to her Beloved Brock as she has outgrown him and we had to send him home (back to his owner in KZN).
