Mandela Portrait raises R35,000!

Congratulations to Michaela Millar for helping to raise a whopping R35 000 for Reach for a Dream! Michaela heads up the College’s AV Club, and Michaela spent many weeks creating a photographic portrait of Nelson Mandela. This was made up of 17 000 blocks, each of those blocks a photo of Reach for a Dream children whilst on their dreams. On Saturday 25 October, at the Reach for a Dream Gala Evening, Michaela’s collage was auctioned off for R35 000 – one of the highest bids for the event. What a wonderful achievement!
