Oakhill School and Knysna are enjoying the biggest Oakhill Waterfront Chukka Festival yet this month, with even more participants than ever!
Following the great success of the U13 Oakhill Waterfront Chukka Festival last weekend, it is Oakhill’s great pleasure to once again welcome visitors from across South Africa to our beautiful town this coming weekend, for the Oakhill U19 Waterfront Chukka Festival.
With nearly 550 players and 120 staff and coaches participating, we are excited, for the first time ever, to introduce a third water polo pool to the Knysna Waterfront Quays! That’s right, not one, or two but three polos of water polo being played simultaneously over 4 days.
There will be 150 games played over this coming weekend from: Thursday, 9 February – Sunday, 12 February 2023. Across 42 teams of 21 boys sides and 21 girls sides there will be 26 different schools participating namely: Bridge House; Camps Bay High School; Clarendon High School; Collegiate Girls High School; DSG Makanda; Fairmont High School; Glenwood House; Herschel Girls School; HMS Bloemhof, Stellenbosch; Kingswood College; Merrifield College; Parklands College; Pearson High School; Pinelands High School; Rhenish Girls High School; Somerset College; St Andrew’s College, Stirling; Westerford High School; Woodridge College; Wynberg Girls High School and hosts Oakhill College.
