In Dramatic Arts, students are expected to produce a live performance to an audience for their practical component every term. This past week the Grade 11 and 12s started the first of the series of Oakhill Drama Showcases in an open afternoon of drama performances. Their program titled ‘Adaptation’ reflected the themes of ”20th Century Philosophy in Theatre” by our Grade 12s and “Realism in Theatre ” by our Grade 11s. Each of their monologues performed linked to the title by script, character or theme and students produced beautiful theatrical moments.
