Independent Schools Golf Festival


The following players represented Oakhill at this Festival:

Lawrence Wiid

Kyle Solomon

Dimitre Papgis and

Jarred Wels


The festival participants played the following courses:

Simola, Oubaai and Kingswood.


These boys played some very impressive Golf and were fantastic hosts.


Results: Oakhill came 8th with 238 Stableford points and 7th on their Gross score (773 shots).



Cape Town Show Jumping


Melissa  Davies came 3rd overall in her event. Melissa has been selected for the Western Cape Eventing team which will compete at the Inanda Country Base in JHB in September.


The following students have been awarded Western Province colours and will participate at Nationals in 6 weeks’ time:

Racing Competition in Port Elizabeth


Kevin Redman achieved a 3rd place in the 600cc class and 7th place overall in the combined 600cc & 1000cc class. He has been invited to attend a race at Kyalami next month.

Congrats to Kevin especially as he has just recently started super bike racing.
