Amy Williams achieved 2nd  place in the Junior category.

CSA u19 Cricket vs Border

Three of our boys played in this match with Thomas Marrow making his debut with a score of 37,Chris Marrow scoring a neat and well played 51 and then had to keep wicket for 132 overs straight and the old pro Josh Pieters contributing with the ball recording match figures of 6/68 in 25 overs toiling hard in the sun.

Results: SWD won by 9 wickets, well done to the boys.


Open Water Results: Sabrina Love Swim Challenge on 28-29th  December.  These students took part and finished with the following times:

Ocean Swim (6km in sea):

Andrew Vedder: 1h34.20

Samantha de Kock: 1h48.45

Caroline Pichler : 2h04.04

Lake Swim (500m):

Jason Campbell: 13mins41sec.

Nic Reid: 16mins 54sec.

Eastern Province Secband OWS Series (3km):

Ms Rijpstra: 2nd lady in age group and 3rd overall lady.

Eastern Province Open Water Swimming Champs held on Sunday 20th January in J bay

Ms Rijpstra: won a silver medal in the 3km race in her age group and was 4th lady overall.

Inter-provincial Gala (EP, Border, Free State, SWD) in George on Saturday, 19 January (a real achievement to swim here):

Kendra Underwood: 1 x 4th place and 3 x 7th places.

Anola Walk: 1 x 2nd place, 2 x 3rd places and 1 x 4th place.

Burger van Niekerk: 1 x 6th place and 1 x 7th place.

Well done to all swimmers.  it was a very tough competition.
